That's awesome! The craziest thing I've ever done is climb a cell-phone tower at 2 am in Tennessee. The things you'll do when you're bored...
I look forward to hearing how it goes. Keep us all updated!

Bringing the heat, Brandon Hall is. (yoda voice).

How easy to get the megaphone and yell about changes to a social platform, when we turn a deaf ear to social injustices. So freaking good!

You know what's interesting. All these changes can be a powerful way of getting the word out about social injustices. But what are people doing? Using them to voice their opinions and pictures of their puppies and forgetting there's a neighbor who needs their attention.

Oh, and I'm with Aaron. Major Jesus-juke! Love it!

I could not agree more. It just points out how utterly self-centered our world is today. What blows me away even more is that people ranted about how dumb facebook was ... wait for it ... ON FACEBOOK! So yes, I couldn't agree more that our priorities are more than a little off-balance.

Now, all that being said, I must say, that was a very well-written, well thought-out, MASSIVE Jesus Juke. Love you, buddy! ;-)

Some of my best friends in the world started an organization called Eyes That See. They are committed to exposing the full worth of children, families, and communities worldwide. Right now they are currently working in Ethiopia, and it's been amazing to watch what God is doing through them. To hear the stories you can check out their website - http://eyesthatsee.org

Have a great weekend, Brandon!

I love EVERYTHING about this post. I love that you aren't afraid to poke the bear and approach a difficult topic. Do it MORE OFTEN! What's interesting to me is that the evangelical church community associates with the Republican Party, while more mainline denominations associate with the Democratic party. The Church should probably stay out of politics, if nothing more than to promote unity amongst our brothers and sisters across denominational lines. It's tough, though. The 2 have been put together for so long, it's going to be tough to separate them, if we're being honest. It's a generational thing, too. Younger generations are a bit more globally aware and accepting for opposing views than older generations. This topic is most definitely a bee-hive of emotions and opinions, but one that does need to be discussed as well! GREAT post!
