Welcome to the new blog! This week I am going to be relaunching my blog by doing two things, 1. Spend the next five days introducing myself by letting you know a few of things about me and 2. through that doing a giveaway each day to one lucky person who comments on my blog. The blog has a little bit of a new layout, nothing fancy because everything is still through WordPress, but I now have an actual domain name, brandonlhall.com, that I am pretty excited about.
Also, I am going to be more intentional about blogging and making this something that is an outlet for me and who I am and hopefully a place for you to come and find encouragement and a place for a good discussion. Which brings me to todays reveal about myself: I love a good conversation.
There is something about a good conversation that just makes you feel good, like you have a little bit more fulfillment in your life because of the words that were traded during that time period. It doesn’t have to be anything deep or theological, but just a good conversation with a friend over a cup of coffee or a meal.
My favorite place to have a conversation is over a cup of coffee at Starbucks. It could really be any coffee house I guess but I tend to spend too much time at Starbucks, and yes I like their coffee too. I love the atmosphere and for some reason it just seems to bring about good conversation.
So if we ever hang out and you have time to talk I will treat you to some coffee. Speaking of treating you to coffee I have a Starbucks gift card to give away. It’s a $10 e-card. Seriously Starbucks or any coffee type place just makes a good spot for conversation. Or maybe it’s just the coffee that does it.

Starbucks is great, it’s almost the default for a coffee hang-out spot. However, here in Ft. Wayne, it’s hard to beat “Firefly”. LOVE that place!
I always wish I could be one of those people who look important in there. You know the ones that have their laptop out and and a notepad and or a book, or the ones that sit in there and are in their suitcoats with clients. Even with friends and/or family. I even wish that I could be the homeless guy Jerry that is @ my main starbucks, who is given free coffee everyday, while he reads his comics from the paper. Even though I cant physically be these people and enjoy the comforts of sitting at this fine establishment. Its hard to go to Starbucks and leave with a bad attitude!

Before we had our little boy, Nathan & I used to go to Starbucks every Sunday. we loved just sitting and chilling out! Great Memories! : )

Starbucks is my favorite place too, it’s just warm and inviting and the coffee’s pretty good too… even if it is expensive. Another one of my favorites to hang out with people at is this little Thai restaurant called Sweet Basil. Muy deliciouso… or however you say that in Thai.
